The girls and I attended a Mother-Daughter roller skating event put on by the 4th grade Girl Scout troop. I haven't been on roller skates in years!! It definitely brought back fond memories of being at the roller rink in middle school for me! We all had a lot of fun and Jemma did great for her first time on skates!
The girls both had a lot of fun spirit days leading up to the end of the school year! Jemma's favorite was the crazy hair day.
I got to spend some time with Jemma on the playground for the 2nd grade poetry party. The students worked on their poetry books all year, and were so excited to share their poems with us!
Jemma's Girl Scout troop had a fun visit to the local fire station where they learned all about fire safety, got a tour of the fire house and even got to sit in the front seat of the fire truck!
Nate and the girls had so much fun getting dressed up for the Daddy-Daughter dance put on by the 5th grade Girl Scout troop! It was at a local park under the pavilion, complete with dinner, a DJ and a fun photo booth!
Unfortunately, the morning following the dance (Saturday), Jade woke up with a headache and fever and ended up testing positive for Covid! Jemma tested positive too, but was completely asymptomatic the entire time. The girls both had to stay home and quarantine until the following Friday which just so happened to be the last day of school!! We were all so thankful they were able to go for that last day!
Peace out 2nd & 4th Grade!!
