Just hanging out

We are really enjoying this change in the weather! It has actually been bearable to be outside the last week or so! I love spending time out on our back deck. Our big tree keeps it well shaded during the day, so it's a perfect place for Jade, Charcoal and I to hang out!

Zoo Day

Jade had her first "play date" on Tuesday! We went downtown to the Lincoln Park Zoo with my friend Sheena and her baby girl Braelyn! Jade and Braelyn were born just 9 days apart! This was the first time Jade got to interact with another baby. The girls were so sweet when meeting each other. They both reached their arms out to the other and held on! It was so adorable, I wish I had my camera handy!! Here are a few pictures from our day!

Jade napped a lot during our visit to the zoo. She did wake up just long enough to look at the fish and sea otters!

It was a long and exhausting day, but we had so much fun and can't wait for our next play date!



4 Months

Finally got some time this evening to post about Jade at 4 months! Jade visited the doctor on Thursday and weighed in at 15 lbs 3 oz and measured 25.75 inches long! She also had her second round of shots! To celebrate her 4 month milestone Jade got two new headbands, a new book and got to try out her jumper!

During her fourth month of life Jade rolled over from her back to her tummy, flew on her first airplane, started to laugh every day, constantly has a hand or toy in her mouth and continues to be a sweet and happy baby! We could not love her more!
