Santa Vist

We headed back to Bass Pro Shop this year for our Santa visit! Love that there are several other things to do, and the picture is free!!

No tears, however Jemma was a bit skeptical!

Jade's Christmas Program

Jade was chosen to be Mary!

She had quite the cheering section! In addition to our family we had Grampy, Grandma and Grandpa join us! Jade really missed having Grammy there, but Jade was happy that Grammy was able to see Rowan and Cruz in their program in FL!

We finished out the evening with dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Little Italian Pizza!

How is it December already?

December has been eventful already and it's not even Christmas! We got our tree up early this month and have now had two sizable snow storms!

We scaled back on our snacks this year, but they were definitely delicious! (My favorite tradition ever growing up was the snacks when putting up the Christmas tree).

The girls were super in to hanging ornaments this year! The tree is pretty packed on the bottom with non-breakable ones!

Jade was practically dragging Nate outside she was so excited! She was a big help with shoveling and even stuck it out long enough to make a snowman with Nate when they were done shoveling!

Jade's 6 week enrichment class on Wednesdays has ended for the year, so we are back to our Wednesday afternoon dates before picking up Jemma! This week we went to Chic-Fil-A and last week we went to the Children's Museum! Love the special one on one time with my big girl!

Thanksgiving

A little late on posting, again! :)

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at my mom and dad's house! Unfortunately, Nate wasn't able to join us as he was home sleeping between shifts! The girls had a lot of fun playing with Grampy and Uncle Jim and Grammy cooked up a delicious turkey dinner!

Florida Visit

We had an amazing visit with my sister's family in Florida a few weeks back! We packed so much into the 4 days we were there including a day at Disney World!

On our first full day we got to see Cruz in his class Thanksgiving program and eat Thanksgiving lunch with him in his classroom. The girls even got to play on the playground with the 1st graders at recess, which they thought was pretty cool! Cruz made sure to stay close to Jemma, letting everyone know she was his little cousin! The girls headed to another park afterward while the boys finished their day at school.

The next day we were off to Disney. Unfortunately, Jemma caught a little tummy bug the night before, so she wasn't feeling 100% during our visit. However, we made the most of it and let her see and do as much as she felt like doing!

While we were busy meeting the princesses Nate, Roger and Cruz went on Splash Mountain!

We all rode Pirates of the Caribbean together! We lucked out with some fast passes that saved us waiting about 50 minutes! Jemma remained passed out like this! :)

Unfortunately, both Jade and Roger woke up with the tummy bug that night! So, Sunday remained a low key day for us at my sisters house! I'm so glad Jade was feeling better that evening and felt well enough to attend Awana with her cousins at their church!

We left the next morning for home! We had such an amazing time! Thank you so much for having us Alison and Roger! It was a blast!
