Jemma - 16 months

Not a whole lot of "new" things this month, just more and more of the same! She continues to be strong, determined, funny, talkative and loving! This month she saw me comforting Jade with a hug and when I was through, walked up to me and said "Momma, hug" as she also wanted a hug. She has also started saying "Love you" and will often walk up to me, bury her head and say "wuv you."

This month, my goal is to work with Jemma on eating with utensils and learning to go down stairs safely! Happy 16 months (a little late) Jemma!

Christmas Craziness: Part 2

Christmas was such a great day of eating wonderful food, relaxing and enjoying great company! The kids had a blast playing with their new toys and the guys enjoyed watching sports, ALL day! Nate was able to join us after work! :)

We went back to my mom and dad's house that evening so the cousins could wake up the next morning and open presents together! It was chaos of course, but so fun to see them all open together!

Next we were headed to Nate's Uncle Paul & Aunt Nancy's house for the Misiunas family Christmas. The girls were spoiled with gifts and had a blast opening and playing with them ALL before we left! Jade also loved spending time with Nate's cousin Matt and his fiance Amy. Jade is going to be a flower girl in their Wedding this June, they got her an adorable flower girl shirt!

We spent the night at our house that night, and then headed back to Crystal Lake on the 27th for the Obermayer family Christmas, hosted by my mom and dad! I've always looked forward to this celebration and spending time catching up with my cousins! It is SO much fun to watch our kids now play together!

Whew! What a way to end our week of Christmas celebrations!

Christmas Craziness: Part 1

I'm finally recovered enough from our week of Christmas craziness and have been able to sort through pictures!

First celebration was on December 23rd at Nate's mom and dad's house. We had a really fun afternoon of opening presents, playing and eating! Nate's grandma and grandpa (Papa and Nana) were able to join us later in the day for dinner!

Christmas Eve was our family day. The girls each opened a new pair of pajamas and a few gifts from mom and dad! We rounded out the day with church, dinner & putting out milk and cookies for Santa!

Nate had to work Christmas Day, so I got the girls up to find that Santa had been there! We spent a few hours playing with our new toys at home, and then headed to my Aunt Mar's house for celebration with my mom and dad, my sister's family, my Aunt Mar and my Grandpa! (Stay tuned for Christmas Craziness: Part 2).
