Happy Valentine's Day

We spread the Valentine's day love over two days! Good thing because miss Jade was much less cooperative for pictures today!

10 Months

Little Miss 10 months!!

I'm blown away each day by the new things Jade is doing. At 10 months old she is using most of her toys for their purposes as opposed to just chewing on them. She loves to read books, and will bring them to you or stand/sit by them and look at you and smile, indicating she wants you to read them to her. She loves to eat! Her current favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, broccoli and graham crackers. She understands the word "no" and doesn't like it. She will get down on her tummy to look for a toy that has rolled under something. She still has four teeth, but a fifth one just poked through. Oh yeah, and she can pretty much walk when she wants to! Check out her video from yesterday! :)

 

  

 

 

New Shoes

Last Thursday my mom and I took Jade to Nordstrom to get fitted for her first pair of shoes! Unfortunately, they were out of stock at the Woodfield store but were believed to be in stock at the Woodfield Stride Rite. So we went to pick them up and they were the wrong ones! The Woodfield store called over to the Oak Brook Stride Rite and they said they had them! So I went over during my lunch break on Friday and surprise surprise, they were the wrong ones again! Luckily they were able to order them for me and they FINALLY came in the mail today!

 

 

 

 

Jade wore them around the house all evening! They are a little big on her right now but she somehow still managed to take two consecutive steps in them! :)

 



A bit of Jade

Jade has a new found interest in this baby toy. However instead of looking at the flashing lights, she puts it up to her ear to listen to the music. SO cute!

This girl took one tiny step today and both mommy and daddy witnessed it! She looks pretty happy about it! :)
