Happy Easter

Easter started out with a few goodies! The girls each got a movie, chalk, bubbles, sunglasses a toy and some candy!

Then we got ready and headed to church! Followed by an Easter lunch with Nate's family!

We finished out the day with an Easter egg hunt! The eggs contained candy, coins and a $1 bill!

Jade - 5 Year Stats

Pretty girl had her checkup last week! She is 45 inches tall (90th percentile) and 47 pounds (85th percentile). 

Five things about Jade at 5 Years Old!

1. She loves art! Specifically drawing pictures of people using the scented markers at school, and drawing anything and everything outside with chalk.

2. She currently says she wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

3. She loves being silly with her little sister.

4. She loves going to Church/Sunday school, and is really bummed if she has to miss.

5. She listens to everything you say, asks a lot of questions and never forgets ANYTHING! 

Shopkin Party

Jade is super in to Shopkins right now, so it didn't come as much of a surprise when she requested this for her birthday party theme! We had a great day celebrating Jade with everything Shopkin!

Jade chose the menu for lunch, baked mostacolli, fruit tray (consisting of bananas, strawberries and grapes) and bread! After lunch we were able to enjoy the beautiful day and spend some time playing outside! Then it was back in for presents!

We wrapped up the party with every one's favorite cake! Marble with a chocolate fudge layer! :)

 What a fun day! Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate! Jade kept saying this was the BEST Birthday!

Jade Turns 5!

Five seems SO old to me, a whole hand! We certainly had a blast celebrating our big girl this weekend!

Started out the birthday with daddy's chocolate chip pancakes!

Next, she opened presents from us and Great Aunt Jill & Uncle Jim!

Jade's big gift from us this year, was her very first bike!

Thanks Aunty Jill & Uncle Jim! Your gift was a BIG hit!

After lunch I took the girls to the park to enjoy the beautiful day!

We rounded out birthday festivities with dinner and ice cream at a new train restaurant, 2 Toots, that just opened!

Sheboygan Weekend

Nate's mom and dad took us and the girls to Sheboygan, WI for part of our Christmas gift. We stayed two nights at the Blue Harbor resort, and the kids had a blast! It pretty much rained the whole weekend, so it was a good thing that pretty much all of our plans were inside!

We met up for lunch at Culvers before heading to the Above & Beyond Children's Museum. The girls loved it so much!

After the museum we headed to the hotel, checked out the water park and ordered pizza! The girls were pretty excited about the sleeping situation for them, bunk beds! Jade was SO excited about sleeping on the top bunk and Jemma was SO excited to sleep in a big girl bed, since she is still in her crib at home! They both did great and no one fell out! ;)

We spent the majority of the next day at the Waterpark! 

Of course, an ice cream break! :)

We played a little more then headed back to the hotel to relax before going out to dinner! Two years ago we ate at Sprecher's in Lake Geneva, so we were excited when we saw there was one very nearby in Sheboygan! The girls loved the hats! :)

The next morning Nate and Grandma took the girls to the water park before we had to check out. We ate a nice lunch at Arabella's Family Restaurant and then headed for home! Thanks for such a fun weekend Grandma and Grandpa!
