End of the Year Wrapup

 November was a quiet month for us as the girls seemed to constantly be battling sickness. We were sick on Thanksgiving this year and had to stay home! My mom packed up an entire Thanksgiving dinner for us and she and my dad delivered it to our door! SO thankful for them!!

We put up our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, and while not everyone was back to themselves 100 percent, we still had a lot of fun and served up our traditional snacks!

We went to see the lights in Downtown Naperville and had a fun dinner at Blue Sushi.

We celebrated Christmas the week before with Grandma and Grandpa!

We drove around and looked at some crazy cool Christmas lights!

We met up in the middle of a blizzard on the 23rd with my sister's family, my parents and my Aunt Mar at Portillo's!

We went to church on Christmas Eve followed by dinner at our favorite pizza place, Little Italian. We wrapped up the evening watching Rudolph and putting out milk and cookies for Santa!

On Christmas Day we spent the morning opening gifts and relaxing before heading over to Nate's cousin Brian's house for their extended family Christmas party!

The next day we headed out to Crystal Lake to celebrate with Grammy and Grampy and the Baum's!

On the 27th we got to see my Grandma (GeeGee). We took her to lunch at Portillo's and then went back to her house where she opened some gifts!

I wrapped out the year with a much needed spa day and overnight in Lake Geneva with my girl friends Lauren and Katie! Can't believe we've been friends for over 20 years!

October Happenings

 We kicked off October with a fun visit to Konow's with Grandma!

The girls had a fun day at Goebbert's with Grammy and Grampy!

I ran my first ever 5K with some of the women from my gym! My only goal was to jog the entire time, and I did it! I had some great cheerleaders waiting for me at the finish line!

We carved a pumpkin!

Jade finished another season of soccer!

The girls had fun dressing up for Halloween this year! Jade was Hermoine from Harry Potter and Jemma was a Zombie Cheerleader.

Jemma's went to a fun Halloween Party at her friend Brynn's house!

Costume parade at school!

For the first time the girls trick or treated separately with friends! I took Jemma with her friends and got pictures and updates from Jade's friend's mom!
