2 Months

Jade Marie is 2 months old!!!

Jade had another great report at the doctor's office today. She weighed in at 11 lbs 8.5 oz and measured 24 inches long! She also had her first set of shots. She was cranky for a few hours after her appointment but once we got some Tylenol in her she was back to her usual sweet self!

I'm so amazed with all the things Jade is doing. She consistently sleeps through the night, takes 4-5 oz bottles ever 4 hours, loves her paci, holds up her head, coos and is always smiling and drawing attention wherever she goes!

P.S. neither Jade nor I were quite in the mood for a photo shoot today, so these iPhone pictures taken yesterday at Grammy and Grampy's will have to do for now! :)

It's a Celebration

On Saturday we got together with my parents and my grandma as usual to celebrate my birthday. This year we were extra lucky and were joined by my aunt, uncle and cousin from Indiana. This was extra special as we got to celebrate my cousin Kendall's birthday as well and see their family before they move to Florida at the end of the month! I am so thrilled that they were able to meet Jade! Here are a few pictures from the day (courtesy of my Grandma). Jade loved being passed around all day and was sure to give everyone plenty of smiles!

Happy Florida Uncle Gary, Aunt Karol and Kendall! We will miss you here in the midwest but will look forward to visiting you in sunny Florida!!
