Christmas Celebrations Part 1

 We hosted Nate's extended family to a Christmas Eve brunch this year. We had such a fun time together, however missed Nate's parents who were unable to come due to Covid.

 

That evening we went to church and dinner at our traditional spot, Little Italian Pizza! The girls put out milk, cookies and carrots before heading to bed! ;)

Some gift highlights for Jemma were a new Wellie Wisher Jeep, Gymnastics Mat & Mini Pac Man Machine. Highlights for Jade were a go-kart attachment for her hoverboard, a new iPad and a shared Nintendo Switch!

After the morning chaos, we got dressed and headed to my parent's house for a Christmas celebration with my Aunt Mar! I apparently was slacking on picture taking that afternoon! :)

December Fun

 We had a packed month of fun and new holiday festivities! 

We started out the season with dinner at Fiamme in Naperville, in our own glass greenhouse! This was such a fun experience, and so pretty all lit up at night! The food was amazing, too! Afterward we checked out the Downtown Naperville light display!

We were able to catch Santa taking a ride through our neighborhood! :)

We went to the Amaze Light Festival in Rosemont with Nate's parents! It rained the entire time, but we powered through!

We spent a day in Chicago soaking up all the Christmas things! We started the day with ice skating on the Maggie Daley Skating Ribbon. This was the both of the girls first time ice skating!! Jade did great! Jemma struggled a bit, but had a lot of fun with the help of daddy and her penguin Lil Joe.

After ice skating we headed to our hotel to check in! We had such a great view from our room! We ran into the Grinch in the lobby of our hotel on our way out! We enjoyed looking at the decorated windows at Macy's, the big Christmas tree and of course The Bean. We had dinner at Chic Fil A before heading back to the hotel for some swimming!

The next morning we got Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and the kids went swimming one more time. We checked out the very busy Christkindlmarket before heading back home.

We kept the fun rolling later that evening with a drive around Naperville to look at lights!
