November

Jade kept busy during November with an indoor soccer skills class. She really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Here is just a quick clip I took of her during a drill.

We started out Thanksgiving break with milkshakes at a new place in town, Sugar Milk Cafe!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with Nate's extended family on Thanksgiving Day! We spent the day after Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad. I wasn't vey good about taking pictures apparently, because these two are all I have!

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we put up our Christmas tree, complete with our traditional table full of snacks. We got a new flocked tree this year, I really loved the look of it!

Mexico

Nate and I got to getaway on a quick 4 night trip to Mexico! This was the first time we got away together since May 2019, so it was much needed!

Our first morning started out great, with sunshine, coffee and breakfast!

We had an awesome swim out suite, where we spent a lot of our time! Our room location was absolutely perfect as we basically had that whole end of the pool to ourselves!

We spent most of the day hanging out here and at the beach. The weather was a little chilly and rainy, but we tried to make the most of any breaks of sun!

Our next day was more of the same! Chilly and rainy with brief periods of sun.

We enjoyed a fun dinner at the resort's Indian restaurant. Our waiter was awesome and chose everything for us. It was so good, and one of our favorite meals of the trip!

Our last day was full of sunshine, so we spent the entire day by the main pool! We wrapped up the night with dinner at the resort's private Hibachi!

We soaked up our last morning with some final beach and pool time! So thankful for this time away!

Grammy and Grampy held down the fort at home and did lots of special things with the girls! A big THANK YOU to them!

Family Pictures

We decided to switch things up and do an urban style family photo shoot in downtown Naperville this year! My friend Sheena took these amazing pictures for us!
