Driving around and looking at Christmas lights

We found a website with the top houses to see in Naperville. So we mapped out the 11 nearest to our house and drove to them. Some were repeats from last year!

Jade really got into the lights this year. So fun to see!

Quick milkshake stop!

Jemma was all smiles when we got home, must be because she slept through the whole tour! :)

Arizona Weekend

We had such a great trip to Arizona last weekend! I absolutely loved watching my girls interact with their cousins. Jade was so happy to be running around and playing with them for 3 days straight and Jemma was all smiles for them!

Our plane was pretty empty on the way there. Jemma and I lucked out and got our own row! Nate joined us later Saturday evening on a different flight!

Snoozin' on her first flight!

Lunch at Wendy's on the way home from the airport!

The kids spent the day playing non-stop!

Grammy with her 2 year old's before dinner at Outback!

The early risers enjoyed watching Paw Patrol.

Twins for the day!

Grampy with his 2 year old's!

Jemma with her biggest cousins! Both boys were so sweet with her!

Sweet Coco even loved holding Jemma and held her for quite a while!

Some Grammy/Grampy time before bed!

Grammy and Grampy got all the kids to bed while Roger and Nate were out watching MNF and Alison and I were at craft night at the kid's school.

A big thanks to the Baum family for opening up their home to us, we had so much fun! Can't wait for the next visit! :)

Jemma - 3 months

I can't believe my little peanut turned 3 months old last weekend. She has grown so much this month and is now taking 5-6 oz bottles every 3-3.5 hours. I can't wait to find out (in another month) how much she weighs! :) She goes to bed around 8:30 and wakes up for the day around 7:15. She's still napping about 3 times a day with a little catnap between dinner and bedtime. She took her first out of state trip this month, which was a trip to Arizona to see my sister and her family. She did amazing on both of the flights and seemed to have no trouble adjusting to the change in schedule and time zone. This little girl has stolen our hearts, we are truly blessed!

Thanksgiving

Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving celebration. Nate had to work until 3:00 p.m. so the girls and I went to my Grandpa's house and celebrated there with him, my parents and my Aunt Mar. Nate was able to swing by his Aunt's house in Orland Park after work, just in time for dinner! :)

One of my favorite pictures. So thankful for these two girls!

Putting up the Christmas Tree

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving we put up our Christmas tree. Usually I like to wait until after Thanksgiving, but since we were leaving for Arizona the following Saturday, our options were limited!

Jade was a big help getting out the decorations!

The traditional snacks. Nate and I both look forward to this tradition every year. Jade really seemed to like them this year too!

Jade also expressed a lot of interest in putting on the ornaments! She did a great job hanging most of the non-breakable ones. Hers tended to slip off the branches occasionally! ;)

Nate's parking lot of car ornaments!

Jemma hanging out under the Christmas tree!

The finished tree!
