Jade had her first middle school band concert! She was spoiled with both Grammy and Grampy and Grandma and Grandpa in the cheering section!

Jemma was busy this month with Volleyball! We're so proud of how much she improved and grew in confidence! She had never played before and joined a team without knowing anyone! She was deemed the "most consistent server" at the end of the session!

I had a fun time seeing Phil Vassar with friends and the newest Troll's movie with Jade and Jemma!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Nate's family! We had such a great day filled with food, family and fun!

We put up our Christmas tree and decorated the house on the Saturday following Thanksgiving! We had our traditional feast of snacks while decorating! This is always a favorite day for our family.

We had our first "snow". The girls made snowmen with pretty much all the snow in the front yard! ;)

October

Jade and I went to see Taylor Swift The Eras Tour movie! We had so much fun singing along to all the songs together! 

We did lots of fun Halloween'ish things! 

Jade and some friends went to a pretty scary haunted house! Nate went along for the scare!

We drove around Naperville and looked at some awesome decorated houses!

The girls designed and carved pumpkins with some help from daddy!

We went to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm! The weather was gorgeous and the girls enjoyed riding all the rides together!

The four of us went on a Haunted Forest Walk in Woodridge! It was so much fun and the perfect amount of scary! :)

Jemma attended a Trunk or Treat Event at church and Jade attended a few Halloween parties! I was happy to get pictures of the kids in their costumes when the weather was cooperating! :)

We got our last blizzards for the year. Our neighborhood Dairy Queen unfortunately closes for the winter. :(

Jade had more soccer games and a special Halloween practice!

It was quite cold, windy and snowy for the school Halloween costume parade. The weather improved a little bit for trick or treating that evening. The girls bundled up and didn't miss a beat. Both enjoyed trick or treating with friends! I went along with Jemma and kept it touch with Jade's whereabouts by phone.
