September & House Updates

We had a blast checking out the Frankfort Fall Festival with Grandma over Labor Day weekend!

Back to school activities have been in full swing around here! This fall, Jade chose to try soccer! Unfortunately, her team has not won a game (or even scored a goal all season) but the girls have had fun playing, and never let losing get them down. I've loved seeing Jade step out of her comfort zone and try something new! I think she even surprised herself with how much she has enjoyed it!

Jemma enjoys going to Jade's soccer practice, mostly so she can play on the nearby playground. ;)

Jemma is doing dance again this fall, and once again chose to do the Ballet/Tap combo class. Also, now that Jemma is in Kindergarten, she is able to participate in the same weekly art class as Jade! They are both loving being in a class together!

The exterior of our house got a major face lift this fall! Nate skillfully repainted our fiberglass front door, himself, which was severely faded from the sun. We then had the whole exterior painted grey with all white accents. It was much needed and we LOVE it!

Also, after many months looking for someone to do the job, we had our stair railings replaced! The original 80's not up to code staircase needed to go!

BEFORE!! These pictures are from when we first moved in, as we forgot to take one before demo. The paint, flooring and carpet have been updated since we moved in, but not the railings.

AFTER!! These aren't the greatest pictures either, but they show the new railings pretty well!
