End of School

Jemma had her last day of PDO (Parent's Day Out) on Wednesday. I'm SO proud of her. She started out the year with tears at drop off and ended the year walking in proudly with her big sister! Jemma was pretty much the youngest in her class, but really did great keeping up with the other kids! I loved reading her report card each week, and having her so excited to show me what was in her bag and tell me all about her day!

On the last day, parents were invited back early for a short program of songs, followed by a freeze pop treat for the kids!

Jemma's favorite PDO thing was "The Butterflies" (they started as caterpillars, Jemma was so excited when they released them as butterflies).

Jemma loved all three of her teachers so much! I have so much admiration for 2 year old preschool teachers, they are just amazing and I can't thank them enough for sharing God's love and loving on my Jemmy!

Thursday was Jade's last day of Pre-K! I can't believe that my first baby will be starting Kindergarten in 3 short months, however knowing Jade is totally ready for it helps a little! She really excelled this year, and made significant progress in her writing and drawing. She gained so much confidence in herself and now LOVES to write and draw and is always drawing pictures for her teachers and friends. Her last day of school consisted of a "Last Slide" on the playground, songs with Mr. Todd (the music teacher) and freeze pops!

Jade's teachers this year were just wonderful, and exactly what Jade needed to grow! She learned a TON this year, and really enjoyed Ms. Jill's organic style of teaching.
