We had a pretty low key 4th of July! We watched the Naperville fireworks together at a nearby park with some friends!
We also caught the 4th of July parade in Crystal Lake with some friends. A little rain didn't stop the girls from having a blast!
We crossed a few things off the summer bucket list. Ninja park, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Cypress Cove.

We went tubing on the Fox River with Nate's Aunt Nancy and Uncle Paul as a joint birthday gift for the girls! We packed a cooler with drinks and snacks and had a great time floating! Weather got a little interesting towards the end and we had to hurry ourselves back before the thunderstorm hit! So much fun!
The rain from the night before put a damper on our plans of going to the Lake in the Hills Ribfest with Grammy and Grampy as they were unable to open the festival due to conditions of the park. So instead, we hit up the BBQ King for lunch and went back to Grammy and Grampy's house to hang out and play some games! While not the original plan, we still had a great day!
The girls were really busy with sports camps this summer! Jade did a futsal camp, two volleyball camps and a soccer preseason camp and Jemma did a cheer camp and a volleyball camp in addition to her weekly tumbling classes and rec volleyball league! I was bad about getting pictures unfortunately.
We spent the last weekend of the month in Crystal Lake for my extended family reunion weekend! The girls were so happy to spend time with their bonus cousins and I loved catching up with my cousins too! We also got to celebrate my Grandma's 97th birthday and my nephew Rowan's 16th Birthday!!
Friday: GeeGee's birthday party at Portillos, glow in the dark bowling and a kid/parent night out (dinner at Texas Roadhouse, Crystal Lake Main Beach park and Dairy Queen).
Saturday: Breakfast, family pictures, Urban Air with the kids and then a date night (laser tag and dinner). The grandparents (and GeeGee) took the kids to Culvers, the park and played games back at the hotel!
Sunday: Family Worship time, lunch at Lou Malnatis and then a birthday celebration back at Grammy and Grampy's house afterward for Rowan! Jade and Cora packed matching outfits without planning, so cute!
