October

Jade and I went to see Taylor Swift The Eras Tour movie! We had so much fun singing along to all the songs together! 

We did lots of fun Halloween'ish things! 

Jade and some friends went to a pretty scary haunted house! Nate went along for the scare!

We drove around Naperville and looked at some awesome decorated houses!

The girls designed and carved pumpkins with some help from daddy!

We went to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm! The weather was gorgeous and the girls enjoyed riding all the rides together!

The four of us went on a Haunted Forest Walk in Woodridge! It was so much fun and the perfect amount of scary! :)

Jemma attended a Trunk or Treat Event at church and Jade attended a few Halloween parties! I was happy to get pictures of the kids in their costumes when the weather was cooperating! :)

We got our last blizzards for the year. Our neighborhood Dairy Queen unfortunately closes for the winter. :(

Jade had more soccer games and a special Halloween practice!

It was quite cold, windy and snowy for the school Halloween costume parade. The weather improved a little bit for trick or treating that evening. The girls bundled up and didn't miss a beat. Both enjoyed trick or treating with friends! I went along with Jemma and kept it touch with Jade's whereabouts by phone.

September Things

 Our September weeks are quite busy with all fall activities kicking off! Jemma is still doing gymnastics once a week and Jade is doing soccer (2 practices per week and games on the weekend), Wednesday night youth group at Church and volleyball on Thursdays! I find myself spending a lot of time in the car! :)

Here are just a few of the fun things we squeezed in this month!

Jemma did a cheer clinic at Naperville Central High School and got to perform during halftime at the Sophomore football game.

We attended the Last Fling carnival in Naperville over Labor Day weekend! I apparently did not take many photos, because this is all I got! The girls enjoyed their unlimited wristbands and rode pretty much everything multiple times. Nate and I tried to find any pockets of shade that we could!

I went to see Morgan Wallen in Moline with my friend Megan! We had so much fun and the show was so great! Our seats were in the first row of the upper deck and with the smaller sized venue the view was amazing!

We went apple picking at Keller's and had the most beautiful weather!

Jemma is NINE

 Last single digit birthday for Jemma! We had lots of fun celebrating her birthday this year! She LOVES stuffed animals, so naturally her theme for her family party this year was Squishmallows!

Always a bummer when your birthday falls on a school day, however donuts help a little!

After school Jemma opened her present from the Baum's and her presents from us! Nate unfortunately had to work, so he was joining us via Facetime! Jemma was so excited for a new bike that wasn't a hand me down from Jade!

Dinner was Jemma's pick, McDonalds!

We had a special birthday dessert of cookie cake and ice cream the next evening when Nate could join us!

Jemma wrapped up her birthday fun with a Bicycle Spin Art & Splatter Room outing with Aunt Nancy and a party at Get Air with her friends!
