Kindergarten

Leading up to the big first day, we got to meet Jade's teacher, Mrs. Gamboa, and see her classroom! That day the kids each made a picture of themselves to put in their cubby!

We are now in full-swing Kindergarten mode, with homework and everything! Jade is absolutely LOVING everything so far! She loves riding the bus (and always tries to get the front seat), eating in the cafeteria (she has bought hot lunch twice already), having recess (sometimes more than one) and "specials" (art, music and P.E.).

Here is my big girl on her first day!

She made it home! ;)

We're off to a great start, I hope it continues! So incredibly proud of Jade and her bravery on the first day, and her excitement to go each and every day!

"End" of Summer

Here is how we wrapped up the very end of July and first few weeks of August, before Jade started school last Friday!

Jade participated in a cheer camp through the Park District! On the last day, Jemma and I explored downtown Naperville before we went back for Jade's big performance, and we seriously had the best time! :)

Here is a video of Jade's performance, follow the link!! Cheer Camp 17

We decided it was time for Nate to trade in his Malibu! :)
He decided on leasing a 2017 Honda Accord Sport, and he's loving it so far!

Go figure, one of the highlights for the girls was playing at the park!

Another highlight was seeing my Grandma (GeeGee as the kids call her) with all her great grandchildren! She had these super cute shirts made for them!

The husbands were so cooperative through all the picture taking! ;)

Another highlight was bowling! This was the first time for both girls, and they loved it!
