Birthday Wrapup

Jade's Birthday festivities finished up with a doctor visit, Jemma and I visiting her classroom and a fun kid party at Pump it Up!

The girls were absolute monsters while we were waiting! They were egging each other on, I was sweating and they were hysterical. 

Ready for her checkup, but nervous for shots! She ended up doing great! She is 42 inches and 41.5 lbs, which is still around the 90th percentile.

Snatched these pictures from her class newsletter! On or around the student's birthday, their family is invited in to class for the last 15 minutes to read to the class! Jade chose two Pinkalicious books for me to read! The class then sang to her and she passed out a favor (Frozen Pez dispensers) to all her classmates!

Between classmates, other friends and little siblings there were over 22 kids at the party! Everyone had a blast!!!

The kids got to play for about an hour, and then we headed into the party room for snacks and cupcakes!

It was an amazing almost week of celebrating Jade! I'm so proud of my big girl. At 4 years old she can write her own name, loves to color and play with figurines of any kind, she adores her little sister and still remembers EVERYTHING! We love you Jadey!

Celebration Two: Frozen Party

We had a fun Frozen themed party at the house last Saturday! Jade picked the theme and the menu! We had baked mostaccioli, strawberries, grapes, bananas and french bread!

A very fun celebration with family and friends! Thank you so much to everyone for coming, especially Ali and Coco who flew in from Florida and Uncle Mark who flew in from Georgia! Jade had the perfect day!

Jade Turns Four

Jade was so excited for her birthday this year! We started the day with Dunkin Donuts for breakfast! Jade chose a chocolate sprinkle donut and munchkins!

Then she was pretty excited to rip into her presents! Pure joy!

She got the last Paw Patrol character and vehicle she needed, along with some Frozen themed toys (Ice Palace, Elsa doll and Activity books).

The Rapunzel Styling Tower, sunglasses and pool gear from Aunty Jill and Uncle Jim were a BIG hit! Thank you! :)

The girls had a blast playing with Jade's new toys all day! Then it was off to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and games!

This was just the first celebration, stay tuned for more!

Easter

We had a pretty low key Easter this year! The festivities started on Saturday with a visit to Walgreens to see the Easter Bunny followed by an egg hunt at our church later that afternoon!

Her hunt was a little more competitive, so she was a little sad about the number of eggs she was able to collect! Luckily, Jemma was a very good sharer of her basket! :)

Our Easter Sunday started with a few Easter Basket goodies and a fun morning church! The girls and I spent some time enjoying the beautiful weather while Nate slept! He joined us for dinner and a mini indoor egg hung for the girls! Their eggs were filled with coins for their piggy banks! :)

Jemma 18 Months

Some way, some how my sweet baby has turned into a big girl! She is so full of personality, shy in unfamiliar situations and an absolute riot in comfortable situations. 

She adores Jade and always wants to do what she is doing. She loves singing, Frozen, Bubble Guppies, coloring, and her soothie and puppy paci. She is very fond of her little people Princess Aurora and the dark pink spoon from the play kitchen and carries them everywhere! We usually have to set these items on her dresser before naps and before bed, and she always wants to grab them after waking up!

You are 32.75 inches tall and weigh 25.6 pounds! You can say A LOT including multiple word phrases and the names of all the Bubble Guppies and characters on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Your little voice is just the sweetest and I love how you say "K Mama" when I ask you to do something! You are such an amazing little girl and we love you to pieces!

Jemma's First Haircut

Jemma has her 18 month pictures this weekend, so I figured now was as good of a time as any for her first haircut! Her hair in the front was quite a bit longer than her hair in the back and it desperately needed to be evened up!
