September Fun

 We kicked off September with a visit to Frankfort Fest with Grandma and Grandpa over Labor Day weekend!

We visited Bengston's Pumpkin Farm with friends and had so much fun!

We went another Chicago Red Stars game! This time Nate and Jemma came along for the fun!

We got a much needed driveway replacement! :)

We went apple picking and had the most perfect weather! This is always one of my most favorite fall activities! We were so happy to find that Honeycrisp were still available for picking, since we had missed them last year!

Jemma is EIGHT!

Jemma kicked off the birthday festivities with a gymnastics themed party with family!

Nate had to work on Jemma's actual birthday, so we did a double birthday celebration for her. The day before her birthday we went to dinner at her choice of Culver's and she got to open some of her birthday presents!

The next day Jemma had birthday donuts before school and opened the rest of her presents. Jade had soccer practice that evening, so Jemma and I went on a birthday dinner date to McDonalds while she was at practice! The dining room ended up being closed for some reason, so we ate in the car! We wrapped up the celebration with chocolate cake!

End of Summer & Back to School

 We wrapped up the summer fun with a few activities from the girls' bucket list! Funtopia, Cypress Cove, ice cream, a ninja park and back to school shopping!

Back to school kicked off with a popsicle party, meet the teacher & manicures! Jemma has the same teacher that Jade did for 3rd grade (Miss White) and Jade has the same teacher she did in 4th grade (Mrs. Golden)!

First day for 3rd grade for Jemma and 5th grade for Jade! I can't believe this is her last year in elementary school!!
