July

We had a fun 4th of July celebration with our neighbors! We enjoyed lots of food, sparklers and our own little firework show!

As options of things to do are still pretty limited these days, most of our days still consist of going to parks or playing with water at home! The girls really don't seem to mind it, and neither do I.

The swing set got a new climbing wall (constructed by Nate) and a new coat of paint!

We wrapped up July with a family road trip to the Smoky Mountains! Trip pictures, coming soon!

June: Part 2

June fun continued....

The girls were so excited to finally get their yearbooks from last school year!

We had a fun morning picking strawberries at Heider's Berry Farm with Grammy, and then spent the rest of the afternoon together at Grammy and Grampy's house!

We celebrated our favorite Daddy on Father's Day! Check out his new T-Shirt! :)

The girls attended a "birthday party" for their friend Addi! Her mom arranged for the Kona Ice Truck to come and all the kids got snow cones!

I think the thing we were all most excited about this month, was that the playgrounds officially reopened!! These are all pictures that Nate took on his adventures with the girls on my work days!

We also got to spend a day at Grandma and Grandpa's house and enjoyed lunch and yummy cheesecake to celebrate my Birthday!

Starting off Summer - June: Part 1

These pictures feel like they were taken a lifetime ago, but I'm just now getting a chance to post them. Here is a little summary of what we've been up to over here!

First and last day of school comparison photo of each girl! I love seeing how much they have grown up!

We got to celebrate Grandma's Birthday with an outside gathering!

Daddy has been busy making upgrades to the girls' swing set. This new tire swing he constructed has been a huge favorite! Stay tuned for it's new paint job and other additions! :)

We planted flowers!

We ate treats!

I got the girls an inflatable water slide since I knew we wouldn't be able to visit the public pools this summer. They girls have also gotten to swim in our neighbor’s pool a few times, which they are always SO excited about!

We tested out the temporary hair chalk Jade had gotten for her birthday!

Jemma lost her first tooth! The cute gap didn't last long, as her permanent tooth was already growing in behind it.

We went on lots of adventures together, including a trip to Dollar Tree, Naperville Riverwalk and a nature hike at Knoch Knolls Park!
Nate and I went out to eat ALONE for the first time since Valentine’s Day! We enjoyed an outdoor dining experience on the rooftop at Empire in downtown Naperville.
