Jade Turns Seven

Jade started her birthday with breakfast on the Star of the Day plate, followed by school! She was excited to pass out goody bags to her classmates! Since she wasn't allowed to bring in food of any kind, she selected a gel pen, unicorn notepad and a puzzle eraser for each of the bags!

After school Jade opened her presents from us and the Baum Family (a big thank you she loves everything) and we picked up  Jade's choice of Culver's for dinner!

After dinner we had Jade's dessert choice, cookie cake and cupcakes!

The next day Daddy put together Jade's big birthday gift, a new bike! She LOVES it! 

We celebrated her Birthday the following weekend with family and friends! Jade chose a unicorn theme! The girls had lots of fun with the "photo booth" props before the guests arrived! :)

They got us, Aunt Mar and the grandparents in on the fun, too!

Thank you to everyone for your generous gifts for Jade! Only showing a few pictures here, but she was beyond blessed! She was also an amazing sharer of gifts with Jemma and let her help open just about everything!

Spring Break

We stayed home for Spring Break this year, so I did my best to keep the girls busy here! They started out Spring Break with a 2 night sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa! They did many of their favorite things, including the Children's Museum, The All Aboard train theme restaurant, The Little Red Schoolhouse, making cupcakes and spending time playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Here are a couple pictures we received!

While the kids were gone, Nate and I had a fun date night to the Eric Church concert!

The next couple days the girls and I enjoyed making bath bombs, playing outside, exploring a new park and train theme restaurant as well as a trip to the Library!

The girls also got to have a sleepover with Grammy and Grampy, which they were super excited about! They got to do some more of their favorite things such as Chuck E. Cheese, the Nature Center, parks and doing lots of art projects at home with G&G!

We wrapped up the week with a movie (Wonderpark) on Saturday and church on Sunday!

January & February

Wow, I can't believe that we are already half way through February! We've been busy getting dumped on by snow, freezing in arctic like temps and overcoming sickness to kick of 2019! Needless to say, we're ready for spring!

Jemma

Jemma has been keeping busy with her gymnastics classes on Tuesday's after school and her ballet/tap class on Friday mornings so far this winter! We have also been enjoying a special lunch together on Tuesday's between school and gymnastics! She tends to pick somewhere that has a play place, so we usually end up at Chic Fil A. ;)

Jade

Jade has been busy with her weekly Art classes on Thursday's after school, and recently this winter started a Track class on Sunday evenings. She is loving it so much! The end of the first session was on Super Bowl Sunday, the parents were invited to watch the last few minutes of class, while the kids ran some races and showed us what they had been learning. 

Also, just wanted to mention how proud we are of how Jade! She was recently selected to participate in a friendship group at school, as a role model peer! Her teacher also gushed about her during conferences and loves having her in class! Definitely makes you feel like you're doing something right as a parent!

Snow

Nate helped build the girls a giant snow fort! They had so much fun playing in it together and with some neighbor friends, before it melted! :)

Daddy Daughter Dance

Nate took both girls to the Daddy Daughter Dance this year! After each girl had their own turn to go alone, they had the best time going all together this year!!
