Pumpkin Patch

After school one afternoon we hit our local pumpkin patch for some fun before picking out pumpkins and getting apple cider donuts! :)

Observation Day at Ballet/Tap

Jemma was so excited to have Grammy come watch her during her classes observation week at her dance! Here is a video of the little dancer! Jemma is in the hot pink tutu. Follow this link here to See Jemma Tap Dance!


Halloween Fun

The weekend before Halloween was our Church's Annual Trunk or Treat event. Unfortunately Jemma was under the weather with a bad cough (we're thinking it might have been a mild case of croup) that kept her home from the event with daddy. Jade had a blast palling around with friends Grace and Sarah, and was sure to grab plenty of goodies for Jem.

Jemma was recovered in time to return to school on Halloween for her class parade and party! 

If you weren't sure, the girls were both LOL Surprise Dolls for Halloween. Jade was Queen Bee and Jemma was Curious QT. We had such a fun time walking all around the neighborhood with lots of friends!

Apple Picking

Apple picking, apple cider donuts, hayride and the corn maze were just some of the things we enjoyed during our family fun day at Keller's Farm in Oswego. The weather was beautiful!

The American Girl Store in Chicago 

Part of Grandma and Grandpa's birthday gift to Jemma was a trip to the American Girl store! I was lucky enough to go with Jemma and Grandma! Jemma's doll got her hair styled, ears pierced and nails painted. Grandma also let Jemma pick something from the store. She chose the Hot Cocoa stand, which she had been eyeing in the catalog. We also got to have a fun birthday celebration lunch! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Brian and Maddie's Wedding

Jade and Jemma were both asked to be Flower Girl's for Nate's cousin Brian's wedding! We had an amazing weekend staying downtown Chicago at a super fancy hotel! Besides getting their hair done and wearing fancy dresses, they enjoyed riding in a taxi for the first time, looking out the window of our hotel room at our gorgeous view of the river and dancing at the reception!

The girls did such a great job! Jemma was determined to throw all her petals, and stood in that spot for at least 20 more seconds. I had to end my video so l could try to get her over to her seat! ;)

Sweet girl fell asleep before dinner! She woke up in time to eat dinner, dance and eat cake before falling asleep on the table!
