Jade's LOL Themed Birthday Party

The party theme for Jade this year was super easy! She quickly decided she wanted an L.O.L. Surprise Doll themed party! These are currently one of hers (and Jemma's) favorite toys!

Decked out in her shirt from Etsy and balloons from eBay! L.O.L. themed party supplies are hard to come by! :)

Among some of the first to arrive were Grammy, Grampy and Great Aunt Mar!

Jade's choice for lunch was the usual Baked Mostacolli, french bread and fruit! The kids enjoyed eating separate from the adults! 

Jade was so excited to receive these games from Great Aunty Jill and Uncle Jim who live in Minnesota! Thank you!

She loved her Target gift card from GeeGee who couldn't be there! Thank you GeeGee, you know her so well, Target is her favorite store!

Another delicious marble cake with chocolate fudge filling from Jewel! I added a few of Jade's L.O.L. accessories to it!

Thank you everyone for the generous gifts and for spending the day celebrating Jade's 6th Birthday! We're so glad you all could be there!

Happy Easter

Easter morning began with a few early morning Easter Basket goodies! Don't mind Jemma's hair, she's a wild sleeper! ;)

The Sunday School children were invited on stage to do a worship song with the Praise Team! It's funny to see where the girls started and where they ended up! 

Easter concluded with a fun dinner with Nate's Parents and Grandma and a mini Easter egg hunt back at the house for the girls afterward!

Meet in the Middle Weekend

My parents planned a super fun weekend in Indianapolis for my sister and her family, our family and them! We called it "Meet in the Middle" as we met pretty much in the middle of Chicagoland and Nashville.  

The first day started at the Indianapolis Children's Museum. Such a cool place, with stuff for everyone!

After the museum we gathered at Panera for dinner and then headed to our rental house for a birthday celebration for Jade and Cruz! Mom and Dad rented the perfect house for the weekend, including a room just for the kids with 3 sets of bunk beds!!

The next morning we spent time playing games and relaxing at the house before heading to the Circle Centre mall for lunch and glow golf!

We rounded out the day with games and Pizza at Chuck E. Cheese!

The next morning Grammy and Grampy prepared an Easter Egg hunt for the kids, which they loved! We played a little more before heading to our farewell lunch at Freddy's!

A super big thank you to Mom and Dad for this very fun weekend! Can't wait to do it again!

January & February Recap

I have been so super slow at keeping up the blog lately, sorry! These cold winter months are notorious for lots of indoor play that doesn't often get photographed!

First snow! The girls had a blast helping daddy shovel and making snow angels!

February was the Daddy Daughter Dance through our Pre-School's affiliated church. Nate has taken Jade the last two years, so we figured it would be nice for him to just take Jemma this year! The two of them had a blast going out to dinner together and dancing the night away! Jade and I had a fun dinner date at Culvers followed by a stroll through the toy aisles at Walmart!

While Jade is at school, Jemma is our project helper and shopping buddy!

During Valentines week Jemma drew this picture at school of Jade, me and her playing together!

Jade's decorated box for her class Valentine's Day party! One of Jade's favorite things is scotch tape. Haha ;)

The girls are both enjoying their outside of school activities! Jemma is having a blast with Ballet class and is anxiously awaiting her big recital in May!

Jade is still having a blast with gymnastics! I love watching her during her class, so much energy and such a great attitude! She also attends weekly art classes, which she loves!

We even got outside, once or twice! :)
