Three Year Photos

Just wanted to share a few pictures from Jade's photo shoot with Sylver a few weeks ago! Also needed to document her 3 year old stats from her doctor visit today (39 inches & 36 pounds). Still rockin' the 90th percentile for both!

Princess Party

Jade chose Disney Princesses for her birthday party theme this year. She loved all the cheesy princess decor & insisted on naming every princess on everything every time she saw it!

All setup and ready for the guests to arrive!

Lunch was baked mostacolli, french bread and a fruit salad of Jade's choosing (watermelon, strawberries and blueberries).

Jemma enjoyed some special snuggles with Grammy!

All of Jade's guests were beyond generous with their gifts! It's safe to say that all gifts were LOVED! The Baum family & GeeGee were unable to make it the party but sent along gifts for Jade to open (pictures included below)! Thank you! :)

A big thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate Jade's 3rd birthday! We are beyond blessed!

Jade Turns Three

Where has the time gone? I can't believe my little baby is now a blossoming 3 year old!! We had a great birthday morning celebration that started with breakfast at our favorite spot Honey Jam Cafe. Jade had M&M pancakes (complete with birthday candles) & applesauce!

Then we headed home to open presents! Jade was so excited and totally in to it this year, which was so fun!

We had just enough time for Jade to try out her strider before leaving for her birthday party at Pump it up! Jade had such a blast playing with all her friends! 

Nate wanted to get in on all the fun too.... ;)

Jemma had her buddy Charlie to hang out with! These two are just about 2 weeks apart in age!

After an hour of constant play, the kids headed to the party room for snacks, cupcakes & presents.

She also loved sitting in the big present opening chair! I loved how close all the other kids were when she opened her gifts!

Easter Weekend

Later that afternoon we went to an Easter Egg hunt at our Church with Grampy. Grammy was unable to join us and we missed her SO much!

Jemmy hung out with Grampy while I helped Jade hunt for her eggs!

Jemma - 7 months

Seven things I want to remember about you at 7 months!

1. You are the happiest and most easy going baby

2. You poop almost every time you are in your bumbo seat ;)

3. You have a ridiculously strong grip and you grab everything 

4. You still sleep in your swaddle

5. You still prefer mommy & daddy and have been known to tear up when strangers talk to you

6. You giggle every time Charcoal plays frisbee, and it's adorable

7. Those eyes and that smile 

Our New Wheels

About 3 weeks ago we said goodbye to my beloved 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and purchased our first car together as a family! The 4 of us spent all morning (and a good portion of the afternoon) at the dealership. Jade enjoyed sitting in ALL the cars in the showroom! What she didn't enjoy was saying goodbye to the Jeep. In fact, she made quite the scene (yes kicking and screaming on the floor) that she didn't want the new car and that she liked my old car! Poor kid hates change. I was pretty sad to let me Jeep go too, but I'm pretty excited about the new ride! ;)

Hello 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara!! :)

While this will be my primary vehicle, it will very much be a car that everyone in the family will enjoy!

Nate was a master negotiator, and went back and forth several times with the salesman until we got the perfect deal! Part of the deal was new black rims & a soft top for the summer that had to be ordered! Well, we finally got them last Wednesday! Just a quick picture Nate snapped when picking it up!! LOVE!

Length: 26.5 inches (68th percentile)

Weight: 17 pounds 6 ounces (69th percentile)

Can't remember head measurement, but it is 94th percentile 

Other Info:

- Usually takes 2 long naps & 1 catnap each day

- Can roll from tummy to back & from back to tummy

- Puts everything in her mouth

- No teeth yet

- Favorite things are her paci, when you sing songs that involve her name, apples, bananas & sweet potatoes, 

reading books & playing with her sister's toys
