Meal time

Meal time is probably Jade's favorite time of the day. I love watching this girl eat. She gets so excited and shovels the food into her mouth as if someone is going to take it. I just wanted to share a quick picture of Jade enjoying her hot dog and peas this evening for dinner!

Better late than never

April was a very busy month for us with Jade's 1st birthday, a trip to Disneyland and a trip to Minnesota for my cousin Kristin's wedding!

Here are a few highlights of our trip to Disney:

Spending lots of time with family

This was the first time since Jade was 2.5 months old that we stayed overnight in a hotel. She did so great and slept in the hotel crib like a champ. She also loved running around the hotel room and playing with her cousins. We had such an amazing trip and are so thankful to mom and dad for taking us!

The following weekend we took a mini road trip to Minnesota for my cousin's wedding! This was Jade's longest car trip to date. All things considered she did pretty well. It was nice that she was able to watch her favorite show Mickey  Mouse Clubhouse on our iPad. That definitely got us through some rough patches! We had lots of fun stopping at gas stations and rest stops along the way and eating meals at Culvers. Here are a few pictures!

Tonight after dinner we spent some time together as a family. Nate worked on the landscaping while Jade, Charcoal and I played.
