Happy Easter

Not too many people can say they had their second Easter before their first birthday!!! Today was technically Jade's second Easter, as she was born on Easter Sunday last year. While she was busy trying to be born last year, this year she got to experience the Easter festivities including, church, an Easter basket, bunny ears and of course pretty dresses! :)

We got to celebrate as a family at Church this morning followed by an Easter lunch at our house with Nate's mom and dad and an Easter dinner out with my mom and dad and grandma!

Easter Bunny

Today we ventured out to see the Easter Bunny at our local mall. Jade seemed pretty indifferent about it. She was all smiley right up until she sat on his lap. After that, the Easter Bunny got about the same reaction as Santa did, no big smiles and no tears. :)

Four year Anniversary. Got to celebrate with dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Wildfire!

16 days until Jade's first birthday! Eek!!!

11 Months

I can't believe Jade will be turning one in just one month! This past year has flown by! I get sad when I think about this upcoming milestone, but at the same time I am excited to see Jade continue to grow and transition from baby to toddler! 

Here are a few pictures and a few facts about Jade at 11 months!

- She walks more than she crawls

- She loves pushing her toys around and knocking them over/flipping them upside down

-  She can break through just about any barricade we put in front of her

- Wake up time is 7:30 a.m. and bed time is 8:00 p.m

- Naps in the morning for about an hour and forty five minutes and in the afternoon for about two hours

- Eats 3 solid meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and still has 3 bottles a day (morning, afternoon and before bed)

- Has 7 teeth (a front top tooth just broke through, finally). Her teeth rarely show in pictures, but are definitely visible when she's smiling big and laughing

- Loves to give her stuffed animals hugs and kisses, Charcoal too

- Smiles at everyone she meets

Little Bookworm

Jade continues to love her books! We read them so much so can successfully identify just about all of them. Here is a quick video I shot before her nap one afternoon identifying all the books that were within my reach.
