Bears Game

I was able to snag four tickets from a coworker for the Bears game last Sunday! The seats were three rows from the field. Not a bad way to experience your first game! We invited my friend Jeremy (from work) and his girlfriend to go to the game with us! We had such a fun day out while Jade had a fun day at the house with Grandma and Grandpa!

 

Such great seats! :)

Not only great seats, but great weather and a Bears win too!!



Sweet Potatoes

Jade tried sweet potatoes for the first time this week. They were a much bigger hit than the rice cereal! It was SO fun to see her enjoy "food". She has been eyeing up our food for months now! Here are a few pictures from her first taste!

5 Months

So far I think Jade thinks being 5 months old is pretty awesome. She unofficially weighs 17 lbs 6.5 oz, drinks 7-8 oz bottles, can sit and play with her toys and continues to be happy and smiley! I can't believe she is 5 months old already!

Jade is looking forward to trying more solids, sleeping unswaddled (hopefully) and meeting her cousin Cora this month! 

A Few Firsts

It's been a while since I posted so I thought I would give you a quick update on what we have been up to!

 

Jade tried rice cereal for the first time this week. She was starting to get the hang of moving it around in her mouth and swallowing it by the end of our first attempt! She did much better the second time around!

 

I love this face. She pretty much made it every bite! :)

Happy to be done!

 

We made our first trip to the park and let Jade try swinging! She seemed to be more interested in looking at what was going on around us than swinging!

Also in the recent days, Jade successfully slept on her tummy for the first time and can sit unsupported on the floor for at least 15 seconds! I can't believe how big she is getting!
